Delete Your Account

We respect your right to control your data. If you would like to delete your Blood Pressure Monitor account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. From within the app: Open Blood Pressure Monitor, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. Via email: Send a request to bpm-support@reportexpress.de with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account so we can identify and process your request.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:

  • Your account information (email address, profile data)
  • All blood pressure readings (systolic, diastolic, pulse)
  • All tags, notes, and categories associated with your readings
  • Generated PDF reports stored in your account
  • App preferences and settings

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period after deletion:

  • Anonymized analytics data — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained to improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to your account.
  • Backup copies — encrypted backups may persist for up to 30 days before being automatically purged from our backup systems.
  • Legal obligations — if we are required by law to retain certain data, we will do so only for the legally mandated period.

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted. During this period you can contact us to cancel the deletion request.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is irreversible. Once completed, your data cannot be recovered.
  • If you have exported any PDF reports, those local copies will not be affected.
  • You may create a new account at any time after deletion, but your previous data will not be available.
